RS Invades Lunar Wars

Calling all Lunar Wars players: reactivate your dead accounts and join the new RandomSalad.com alliance immediately.

Random Salad is full of things much less interesting than this. Whether you've come to this page by a link or by voodoo sex magic, pay a visit to the homescreen before you go.

Didn’t we try this already?

Besides, I’m still active - maybe I’ll declare on RS before they get to 10 members - hee hee.

I’m actually tempted to join now…

Egads, I’ll see what I can do. Is anyone still playing it?

Go SpeedJoey, adventure’s just around the bend. It’s like four mouseclicks.

It has become apparent that I still ‘care’ about my alliance on the moon, and it’s for completely illogical reasons. I’m with the resistance.

You will fail.

Man, LW is really in a sad state. I couldn’t figure out how to work that Galava deal, so I never started there.

I signed up for Galava yesterday, clicked through dozens upon dozens of screens and subscreens, did all two of the things possible to do, and quit.

Yeah, way too complicated. Both games are on the lame continuum, albeit at different ends.

LunarWars needs a reset with one single new feature: curbed growth, slowing expontentially, so that new players can actually join.

That’s the game’s only flaw, but unfortunately Sandro thought the problem was that it wasn’t complicated enough and that, somehow, having two flawed games to split the community in half would be a good thing.

Well, you know, being good at programming /= being good at understanding how communities work.

We should start a game.

I can only barely glue together a Geek Culture Webozine. Areilah and Locke would probably both be highly capable, but they’re “gainfully employed” and thus we can’t ask them to do things as awesome as that.

Tragic. Maybe we can create a game that has all of the politics of LW and none of the programming.

All right. Let’s try this.

I am Lord Malcolm of the Zombie Horde. Will you sign a NAP with me?

I am also of the Zombie Horde. I will be happy to sign a NAP with you. If I can eat your brain.

I may just have to join up with this shindig here, LW blows and this’d be a good exit.

Also, Galava is a lot more interesting once you give it a few days to get the hang of the system. Protip: BUY LAND. Build up as many food-producing provinces as you can. Get a University and spend all your progression points on food-based technologies.

Stu has food! Get him!

Om nom nom nom.

This game would be a lot better if you could build miniature Taco Bells or something.

Also: hai2u JM! You gonna play?

I don’t know what that is, hai2u. Does it mean “Hi to you” or is it a thing I should recognize?

Just nuke Legionnaires until you run out of colony. Only then can you call yourself a true zombie.
